What you will do

• Perform quality audits on materials at various levels and document the results.
• Operate and calibrate specific test equipment according to specifications and schedules.
• Conduct non-routine tests, including radiation dose, bio-burden, and water tests.
• Investigate causes for quality defects and provide non-conforming materials for rework.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers and production teams to prioritize daily work schedules.
• Provide quality training to operations regarding specifications, drawings, and measuring.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Stuarts Draft, VA.
• Computer literacy and ability to use electronic programs for inventory and result storage.
• Physical ability to push/pull up to 500 lbs with a hand truck and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in using problem-solving/lean tools and knowledge of 5S.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with suppliers, engineers, and production teams.
• Manual dexterity and eyesight sufficient to read gauges and perform functional tests.
