What you will do

• Provide technical and analytical inputs to IA-CEPA governance mechanisms to resolve implementation bottlenecks and reform priorities.
• Conduct rigorous analysis of trade policies and non-tariff barriers (NTBs) to produce high-quality policy briefs and diagnostics.
• Support the technical design, implementation, and monitoring of trade-related reforms to close policy-to-practice gaps.
• Lead sector-level NTB diagnostics and establish mechanisms to integrate private sector feedback into actionable policy proposals.
• Facilitate technical policy dialogues and public-private consultations to identify implementation challenges.
• Conduct institutional capacity assessments and provide support to strengthen data utilization and reform tracking systems.

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in economics, international trade, public policy, development studies, or international relations.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in trade policy or economic governance.
• Demonstrated experience working with the Government of Indonesia (e.g., Kemendag, Bappenas, BKPM).
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a must for policy engagement and facilitation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for senior stakeholder reporting.
• Technical expertise in non-tariff barrier (NTB) assessment and trade facilitation.
