What you will do

• Design and validate HPC/LPC modules and develop automated computational analysis software.
• Optimize turbofan components, modules, and sub-systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
• Conduct thermo-mechanical and dynamic simulations, including creep, LCF/HCF, and fracture assessments.
• Perform FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) to support safety and operability.
• Review designs and simulations and generate testing guidelines to support correlations.
• Collaborate with Test Teams, Product Managers, and Systems Engineers to identify and mitigate project risks.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, and integrity.
• Proficiency in design packages such as Solidworks, Siemens NX, or similar.
• Experience in FEA using Ansys, Nastran, or equivalent simulation methods.
• English: Fluent (C1) proficiency required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nice to have

• Experience in whole engine structural analysis and clearance assessments.
• Awareness of state-of-the-art technologies in materials and structural mechanics.
