What you will do

• Oversee the developer experience portfolio across the Perplexity API Platform.
• Curate developer-facing assets including documentation, SDKs, CLIs, MCPs, and Agent Skills.
• Build and nurture a thriving developer community to evangelize API offerings.
• Represent the voice of the developer by identifying customer priorities and friction points.
• Lead public engagement via developer events, social media, and forums.
• Define and drive metrics for developer health and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Substantial experience working on developer-facing products in a technical capacity.
• Strong empathy for developers across various experience levels and tech stacks.
• Deep understanding of the modern AI technical stack and API ergonomics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for technical articles, docs, and talks.
• High standards for craft and quality with a keen eye for detail.
• Must be based in the US for the listed compensation range.
