What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy end-to-end ML/AI models, including data pipelines, training workflows, and performance optimization.
• Maintain and evolve production AI systems, monitoring for drift and driving improvements in reliability and scalability.
• Build advanced agentic systems and RAG pipelines using embedding models and vector databases.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to align AI capabilities with business goals.
• Contribute to AI architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers to raise the bar on engineering practices.
• Utilize AI-forward coding tools like Claude and Cursor to accelerate the delivery of high-quality code.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on production AI/ML systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with Generative AI development.
• In-depth understanding of AWS services and AWS GenAI offerings.
• Proven ability to design and ship agentic systems and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with AI frameworks, orchestration tools, and LLM observability/evaluation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

Nice to have

• Expertise in cost optimization, including token economics, caching strategies, and model routing.
• Deep understanding of AI safety, responsible AI principles, and prompt injection defenses.
• Experience with PII handling in AI applications.
