What you will do

• Design, configure, and fine-tune security alerts across cloud platforms, firewalls, servers, and endpoints.
• Own and optimize host-based intrusion detection (HIDS) and cloud monitoring tools.
• Track threat intelligence and vulnerability feeds to stay ahead of emerging risks.
• Assess new threats and collaborate with teams to implement fixes and configuration changes.
• Monitor and investigate alerts, distinguishing genuine security incidents from false positives.

Requirements

• Professional SOC experience in Threat Intelligence or Detection Engineering.
• Strong querying skills in KQL, SQL, SPL, or Lucene.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automating triage and interacting with security APIs.
• Experience writing detection rules for HIDS, SIEM, or cloud workload protection platforms.
• Understanding of logging architecture in cloud, next-gen firewalls, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise XDR/EDR solutions.
