Senior Engineer, Software (Embedded)

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams developing, integrating, and qualifying RF systems, power electronics, embedded systems, software, and AI solutions.
• Define system requirements and architectures integrating RF, digital hardware, AI, and embedded control into unified product platforms.
• Lead simulation, testing, verification, validation, and qualification of power electronics, RF systems, and high-speed digital hardware.
• Oversee firmware and software development from requirements through verification, maintainability, and certification compliance.
• Design and integrate AI/ML, computer vision, and NLP solutions for real-time analytics, automation, and intelligent decision-making.
• Support R&D initiatives, technology roadmaps, resource planning, recruitment, budget alignment, and engineering capability development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical project management or embedded electronics development within defense or aerospace, ideally involving missile systems.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering electronics sub-assemblies or complex systems across the full lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of missile or weapon system development and production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware, firmware, integration, qualification, verification and validation, production transition, configuration management, technical reviews, milestones, and regulated documentation.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated engineering environments.

• PMP certification.
• Experience with MBSE and emerging technologies.
