Senior SDET Engineer

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work with regular office collaboration

Salary: RON 284,000–426,000 gross annually, plus an annual bonus of up to 10%.

What you will do

• Review feature requirements and design specifications.
• Collaborate with developers to define testing strategies for product components.
• Build automation frameworks and lead the transition from manual testing to automated testing.
• Develop and execute comprehensive automated and manual functional test plans and cases.
• Create test coverage reports and quality documentation.
• Track projects and defects while driving QA best practices and continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and 3+ years in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Ability to maintain and execute automated functional tests.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and issue or project tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, independent work, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qase, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar test case management systems.
• API testing experience with Postman or similar tools.
• Experience using AI tooling such as OpenAI or GitHub Copilot to generate test cases and automated tests.
• SQL skills, including PostgreSQL or MSSQL.
