TL;DR

Technical Support Specialist I (SaaS): Providing technical troubleshooting and functional guidance for higher education software with an accent on system-level diagnostics and customer service. Focus on analyzing logs and SQL queries to resolve complex enterprise software problems.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA)

Salary: $49,000–$57,000/year

What you will do

  • Provide professional technical support and troubleshoot functional and system-level issues for hirify.global products.
  • Analyze customer problems using SQL, logs, and browser developer tools.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple support cases based on urgency and impact.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Ops, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve escalations.
  • Document technical findings and solutions for the internal knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting web applications or enterprise software.
  • Functional knowledge of accounting principles (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger).
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must not require work visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems or equivalent experience (Bootcamp, certifications).
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and relational databases.
  • Experience with hirify.global One (J1), JICS, or business office modules.
  • Experience creating knowledge base articles and technical guides.
