What you will do

• Lead the full delivery lifecycle for iOS and Android applications, from scoping and architecture to release and monitoring.
• Own the mobile technical roadmap, including CI/CD pipelines, store submission processes, and platform strategy.
• Set and enforce engineering standards, including code review discipline, performance budgets, and accessibility compliance.
• Drive a test-first culture by defining and maintaining high coverage thresholds for unit, integration, and UI/E2E tests.
• Operate as an AI-first engineer, establishing team norms for using tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate development.
• Coach and grow engineers through 1:1s, pairing, and structured feedback while partnering with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in production mobile development.
• 2+ years in a tech lead, staff, or engineering management role.
• Strong expertise in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit) and Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) development.
• Deep understanding of mobile delivery, CI/CD, and crash/analytics tooling.
• Proven experience with mobile testing strategies (XCTest, Espresso, etc.).
• Must reside in one of the specified US states: AL, AZ, CT, FL, GA, HI, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NV, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, or WY.

Nice to have

• Production experience with cross-platform frameworks, specifically Flutter.
• Experience in health IT, HIPAA compliance, or digital health integrations.
• Demonstrated fluency in Agile delivery methodologies.
