What you will do

• Design and develop event-driven backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Architect microservices-based solutions with REST APIs and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Lead the development and deployment of AI-enabled systems processing structured and unstructured data.
• Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintain automated testing strategies.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks and LLMs such as OpenAI, Bedrock, and Claude.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production AI systems.
• Must reside within the continental US.
• Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS (Aurora, ECS, SQS, S3) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, federal government, or other regulated environments.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks or agent-based architectures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance.
