Location: Hybrid; must be based in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA

Salary: $237,700 - $344,700 annually (for SF/NYC areas)

What you will do

• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to ideate, build, and launch new features for the developer ecosystem.
• Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices with AI integrated into the workflow.
• Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows to drive efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and provide in-depth code reviews to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience teams to triage and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications and developer tooling.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with API design and building library-level code.
• Must be based in the San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA offices (Hybrid work environment).
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) with strong prompt engineering skills.
• Strong communication skills and empathy for the developer community.

• Experience with Hack and XHP.
• Experience with Java or Go.
• Experience with web analytics and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Experience building hirify.global Apps.
