What you will do

• Develop and support software systems and tools for quantum processor calibration and operation.
• Architect and maintain web applications and backend systems from concept to production.
• Design and implement user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior software engineers.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in New Haven, CT, US.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, math, or physics.
• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one other high-level language (Java, Go, C, or C++).
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and AWS cloud platforms.
