What you will do

• Accurately apply incoming cash receipts to customer accounts in a timely manner.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash items.
• Support collections activities by following up on outstanding receivables with internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with global finance, operations, and brokerage teams to resolve billing and payment issues.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of invoices, credit notes, and bank reconciliations.
• Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience in Credit or Accounts Receivable.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to handle multi-currency transactions.
• Must be based in Athens, Greece.

• Experience using Workday or similar ERP systems.
• Exposure to securities trading or regulated industries.
• Experience in the maritime sector.
• Degree in Finance.
