What you will do

• Fulfill statutory obligations as the Data Protection Officer under GDPR and local regulations.
• Manage privacy-by-design responsibilities and ensure compliance across all hirify.global subsidiaries.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Data Transfer Impact Assessments.
• Advise the group on the EU AI Act and emerging AI solutions.
• Manage personal data breaches and coordinate responses with supervisory authorities.
• Lead awareness-raising programs to foster a data privacy culture within the organization.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Budapest, Hungary.
• English: C1 fluency required.
• Law degree with 4-6+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data protection and IT law within a multinational environment.
• In-depth understanding of GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Experience with privacy automation tools and global privacy program management.

Nice to have

• CIPP/E, CIPM, AIGP, CISM, or CISSP certifications.
• IT qualification or strong technical understanding.
