What you will do

• Design complex data collections with human participants, including authoring instructions and defining quality targets.
• Implement synthetic and model-based data generation methods to create high-quality training datasets.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for science and engineering teams.
• Develop tools and prototypes for data analysis and creation using Python.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to evaluate the performance of AI models.
• Coordinate day-to-day data collection efforts, including planning, scheduling, and reporting.

Requirements

• Master's or higher degree in Computational Linguistics or a relevant field with computational analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in computational linguistics, language data processing, or AI data creation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python.
• Experience with language data annotation systems and data markup.
• Experience working with speech, text, and multimodal data in multiple languages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computational Linguistics or equivalent.
• Practical experience with Machine Learning and technical concepts like APIs.
• Familiarity with version control, agile development, and database queries (SQL, R, Matlab).
• Expertise in bootstrapping AI data collections for evolving requirements.
