What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on MENA geopolitical developments and relevant data sources.
• Monitor and analyze data feeds to ensure high-quality intelligence for clients.
• Annotate and label complex real-time events, making critical decisions with incomplete information.
• Develop projects to improve AI model performance and tooling in the event detection space.
• Collaborate with team members to manage daily priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK or Ireland.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required for research and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Middle Eastern Studies, or a related field.
• Understanding of geopolitical risk, social media, and publicly available data.
• Ability to work core hours of 7:00 am - 3:00 pm GMT, including rotational weekend work.
• Experience with AI tools and LLMs to improve workflows.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Farsi, Hebrew, or Turkish.
• Previous experience in a real-time information or news environment.
