What you will do

• Lead the application of AI and data science to accelerate protein and metabolic engineering across business segments.
• Develop and improve advanced models for DNA, RNA, proteins, and metabolic pathways.

Requirements

• PhD (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or AI.
• 3–7 years of academic or industry experience in protein and/or metabolic engineering.
• Hands-on experience with foundation models in biology, including sequence and structure-aware generative models.
• Expertise in deep learning architectures such as transformers, GNNs, and diffusion models.
• Experience with HPC environments, distributed computing, and GPU-accelerated workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML practices.
