What you will do

• Develop and maintain machine learning models for healthcare claims, patient journeys, and HCP targeting.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering on large-scale healthcare datasets.
• Analyze treatment patterns, referral behaviors, and influential HCP/KOL networks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize healthcare data pipelines and analytical workflows.
• Operationalize ML workflows within Azure Databricks or AWS cloud environments.
• Communicate analytical findings and business impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python scripting, healthcare data analytics, and applied machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare claims data, provider datasets, or pharmaceutical commercial analytics.
• Understanding of healthcare concepts such as patient journeys, treatment pathways, and referral networks.
• Working knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud platforms for large-scale data processing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with graph/network analytics, influence modeling, or KOL identification methodologies.
• Experience with ML lifecycle management, versioning, and model governance tools.
• Certifications in Azure or AWS data/ML technologies.
• Experience working within pharmaceutical or life sciences analytics environments.
