JavaCard Applets Architect (Automotive and Secure Element)

What you will do

• Translate customer market requirements into product specifications.
• Design and develop secure JavaCard applets for car access, battery management, telematics, identification, payment, and related services.
• Ensure internal unit and system testing and support functional and security testing at external test houses.
• Provide technical guidance and lead the development team across multiple sites.
• Contribute to security certification activities with a careful and reliable working approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years of JavaCard applet development experience for mass-market products.
• Experience with compliance certification for payment and eGovernment applications.
• Strong understanding of Secure Element and smartcard internals and cryptographic algorithms including DES, AES, RSA, ECC, and PKCS.
• Experience technically leading and steering multisite software development teams and collaborating with diverse teams.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written, is required. Basic knowledge of automotive standards and procedures such as IATF16949, FMEA, ASPICE, CMMI, and ISO26262 is expected.
