What you will do

• Work with Executive Producer and Senior Producers to create, develop, and implement linear and non-linear news strategies.
• Produce daily newscasts, live special coverage, and other programs across all platforms; execute content and story distribution strategy.
• Perform editing work in Edius and Premiere Pro.
• Communicate story and segment vision to writers, anchors, and field crews to deliver accurate, dynamic coverage.
• Develop and contribute to streaming and non-linear products; generate story ideas and make daily coverage decisions.
• Adjust quickly to late changes and lead aggressive breaking-news coverage; collaborate cross-departmentally for cross-promotion.

Requirements

• Spanish and English fluency with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a daily newscast producer.
• Strong Spanish news writing experience across multiple platforms (script writing, news writing, and broadcast/digital production).
• Proven track record producing live events and newscasts.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Required on-site full-time in Fort Worth, TX; ability to work any shift, any day of the week.
