What you will do

• Architect and develop core distributed infrastructure for a Python-based platform orchestrating high-performance C++ solvers.
• Design efficient ingestion pipelines for large-scale netlists and multi-TB simulation data.
• Implement fault-tolerant task distribution, resource management, and load balancing across compute clusters.
• Develop serialization layers bridging Python and C++ components for high-performance data exchange.
• Build scalable visualization systems for multi-dimensional TB-scale simulation results.
• Ensure system observability and monitoring for complex distributed workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production distributed systems with Python.
• Deep expertise with Dask Distributed, Spark, Ray, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing patterns, data locality, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with high-performance I/O formats like HDF5, Parquet, or Arrow.
• Proficiency in Python/C++ interop using tools like pybind11 or Cython.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA.

Nice to have

• Background in EDA, VLSI, or semiconductor design.
• HPC experience with job schedulers such as Slurm, PBS, or LSF.
• Knowledge of GPU acceleration.
