Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Transition legacy and manual deployment processes to automated DevOps workflows.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, production, on-premises, and AWS environments.
• Design continuous deployment solutions that improve application availability and uptime.
• Optimize resource utilization and operational costs across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including capacity planning.
• Enforce security practices by tracking vulnerabilities and ensuring timely remediation.
• Diagnose and resolve environment issues while supporting Dev and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, or an equivalent field.
• At least 2 years of experience driving CI/CD for systems deployed to cloud providers, with AWS experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a global 24x7x365 SaaS/PaaS operation.
• At least 2 years of experience with virtualization and Docker containers.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, batch, bash, or Python.
• Ability to design complex systems, collaborate across functions, and apply CI/CD, code quality, operational readiness, and security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with a broad range of the listed CI/CD and infrastructure tools, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS services.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
