What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Mainframe technologies.
• Implement components based on design documentation and functional programming specifications.
• Architect solutions, test code, and handle deployment processes.
• Provide work estimates for assigned development tasks.
• Guide features and functional objectives for interested parties and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
• Excellent coding skills and solid experience with Mainframe technologies (Cobol, JCL).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Strong financial expertise (e.g., accounts and deposits).
• Proficiency in Finnish language.
