What you will do

• Evaluate advanced language-model responses to real-world and theoretical plant virology questions.
• Cover viral genome organization, transmission pathways, symptomatology, vector biology, epidemiology, and virus management.
• Assess ELISA and PCR assays, virus isolation, molecular diagnostics, and resistance-breeding concepts.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness while documenting reproducible model error traces.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and AI evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Expertise in plant virology, virus-host interactions, virus detection methods, vector biology, plant disease epidemiology, molecular diagnostics, or virus management.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to show reasoning and work.
• Must be located in the United States of America.
• A secure computer and high-speed internet are required.

Nice to have

• PhD in plant pathology, microbiology, molecular biology, or a closely related life-science field.
• Peer-reviewed publications, hands-on research experience, or agricultural diagnostics experience.
