What you will do

• Lead end-to-end debug and root-cause analysis across optical, electrical, and firmware layers.
• Partner with hyperscale customers on product bring-up, qualification, and technical escalations.
• Define and execute validation test plans for coherent pluggable optics (400G/800G/1.6T ZR/ZR+).
• Develop Python-based automation for test execution and data analysis.
• Create technical documentation including application notes and debug reports.
• Drive technical communication and corrective actions with internal engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, Optical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12+ years of experience in Applications engineering, system/network validation, or optical module engineering.
• Hands-on experience with coherent optical modules in end-to-end network environments.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws.
• Strong background in Physical layer (Layer 1/Layer 2) interoperability testing.
