What you will do

• Analyze misclassified email messages, URLs, and attachments to update detection technologies.
• Perform deep investigations of email headers and structures to identify novel threat features.
• Develop new rules and methods to proactively detect emerging email-borne threats.
• Contribute to the development of tools and automation for front-line threat analysis.
• Handle complex customer escalations and systemic recurring issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to high-priority alerts and monitor essential systems.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Linux command line and text manipulation tools.
• Good knowledge of regular expressions and SMTP mail delivery protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a global, distributed team.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related subject or equivalent technical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in a data science or similar role.
