What you will do

• Define and enforce telecom compliance requirements including FCC, STIR/SHAKEN, and e911.
• Validate data sovereignty and cross-border flows against GDPR and UK IPA frameworks.
• Conduct manual technical audits and design validations to identify regulatory gaps.
• Map regulatory rules to architecture documentation via a traceability matrix.
• Document regulatory justifications for approvals to support external audits.
• Act as the subject matter expert between legal teams and technical delivery units.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT compliance, technical auditing, or information security governance in the telecom domain.
• Practical knowledge of global regulatory frameworks such as FCC, CALEA, GDPR, UK IPA, and STIR/SHAKEN.
• Ability to interpret network topology diagrams, routing tables, and firewall rule sets.
• Proven experience conducting manual, checklist-driven technical audits.
• Strong capability to translate legal requirements into clear technical audit criteria.
