What you will do

• Architect and implement guardrails for tool-using AI systems, including access controls and memory isolation.
• Build runtime enforcement mechanisms such as proxies, middleware, and kill-switches to govern AI behavior.
• Design identity and access controls for non-human entities (agents) to ensure actions are attributable and auditable.
• Implement logging, tracing, and anomaly detection for AI activity and decision flows.
• Perform agentic system threat modeling using MAESTRO to identify attack paths and implement practical safeguards.
• Protect developers by validating AI-generated code and preventing sensitive data exposure.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering or backend systems.
• Proven experience designing and deploying security controls like runtime enforcement layers and identity systems.
• Strong programming skills, with a preference for Python (Go, Java, or TypeScript are a plus).
• Practical familiarity with agentic AI systems, tool-integrated LLM workflows, and OWASP guidance for AI risks.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and detection systems.
• Must be located in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience securing internal AI platforms or developer-facing AI tools.
• Background in detection engineering, threat hunting, or adversarial testing.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding secure design.
