TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML): Designing and maintaining complex machine learning models and AI-powered services for core financial product features with an accent on end-to-end ML pipelines and scalable architecture. Focus on optimizing model performance, implementing low-latency inference systems, and solving high-scale fintech challenges.

Location: Menlo Park, CA. In-person attendance expected at least three days per week.

Salary: $213,512 - $245,000 per year

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex ML models and AI-powered services for core product features.
  • Lead the implementation of end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, and deployment.
  • Partner with product and data teams to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions.
  • Own ML components from experimentation and architecture to production monitoring and iteration.
  • Drive improvements in model performance, reliability, and scalability through rigorous experimentation.
  • Oversee the integration of ML models into production systems to ensure low-latency inference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 5+ years experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or GoLang.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and data processing/feature engineering tools.
  • Strong knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
  • Experience with ML pipeline deployment and model observability tools.
  • Must be based in or be able to work from the Menlo Park, CA office at least 3 days per week.
