Salary: $146,000 – $220,000 USD (based on location zone)

What you will do

• Design and build systems to identify and address security risks early in the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to conduct threat modeling and guide secure implementation.
• Develop and maintain security guardrails, including shared libraries, frameworks, and automated checks.
• Contribute to AI security governance and automated secure design review programs.
• Provide clear guidance, documentation, and reusable tools to improve secure development patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application security, product security, or software security.
• Experience building production-grade systems in Python, Go, or a comparable language.
• Proven ability to partner with engineering teams to explain risks and recommend practical mitigations.
• Experience working in environments prioritizing reliability, incident response, and secure delivery.
• Must be able to work in-person at least 3 days per week in Bellevue, WA or Menlo Park, CA.
