What you will do

• Design and build highly scalable systems supporting millions of cross-border transactions.
• Develop VAT tooling and seller-facing tax infrastructure for EU and UK markets.
• Create cross-border shipping and Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) experiences.
• Implement systems for Right of Withdrawal, refund automation, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop operational tooling to optimize international marketplace operations.
• Partner with logistics, payments, and platform teams to build durable long-term infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in Poland
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in distributed systems or large-scale platforms.
• Proficiency in one or more modern backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Kotlin).
• Experience with relational databases and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to drive projects independently from ambiguous problem statements to production launch.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, fintech, e-commerce, logistics, or compliance systems.
• Experience building operational platforms, workflow systems, or transaction processing infrastructure.
• Experience working in rapidly growing product organizations.
