What you will do

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine assembly requirements.
• Assemble electrical systems and install components, units, subassemblies, and wiring using various tools.
• Run wire and cable according to technical specifications.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical components to correct defects.
• Drill and tap holes in equipment to mount control units and instruments.
• Inspect and test wiring installations and circuits to ensure operational integrity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in wiring or installing electrical components or completion of a technical vocational program.
• Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
• Basic math skills for technical measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks while standing.
• Must be able to differentiate between colored wires and electronic components.
