What you will do

• Define and implement the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the security engineering function.
• Establish and evolve enterprise security architecture across infrastructure, applications, and identity systems.
• Drive the design and build of scalable detection, response, and automation platforms for continuous visibility.
• Integrate industry-leading DevSecOps practices and zero-trust principles into the technology ecosystem.
• Build, lead, and mentor a global team of security engineers and managers to foster technical excellence.
• Partner with Product Engineering, IT, and Threat Research to ensure security controls are effective and adaptive.

Requirements

• Must be based in Sunnyvale, CA
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or software engineering.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles leading large-scale security programs.
• Deep technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and identity systems.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience specifically within the cybersecurity or SaaS sectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications.
• Proven executive presence with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
