Senior Integration and Test Engineer

Salary: $82,300–$220,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to ensure designs are testable and provide feedback throughout the design process.
• Contribute to system concepts and architectures that promote design-for-test capabilities.
• Translate mission-focused requirements into testable requirements and develop ATP, DVT, qualification, validation, and production tests.
• Serve as a system integrator and execute system validation activities across the program lifecycle.
• Lead 3–5 individual contributors in planning, executing, and documenting development and production testing.
• Identify program- and system-level technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate technical results to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Systems Engineering or a relevant role.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments, guide others, and lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost, and schedule.
• Ability to derive plans, approaches, and procedures for solving complex integration and test problems with limited direction, while adapting to changing requirements.
• Ability to produce technical reports and presentations and present technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary program teams, program leadership, and non-technical personnel.
• Ability to balance multiple competing tasks and demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Current in-scope Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-paced development environments.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and interfacing with environmental test equipment, including rate tables, shakers, impact testers, and thermal, humidity, and pressure chambers.
• Experience automating and optimizing test infrastructure and processes.
• Experience with Python and test scripting.
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers and providing constructive feedback.
