What you will do
- Lead the COBOL and ChangeMan practice by setting team goals, planning timelines, and tracking delivery progress.
- Manage resource allocation and workloads based on incoming customer requests and projects.
- Coordinate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Product Engineering to drive sustainable customer solutions.
- Handle customer escalations and strategy questions in partnership with Project Delivery.
- Provide value-driven consulting to customers, including discovery, scoping, and solution proposals.
- Mentor junior consultants and develop customer and internal training materials for Rocket products.
Requirements
- 8+ years in related information technology roles.
- 5+ years of project management, consulting, or management experience.
- 5+ years of development, application lifecycle, or change management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills.
- Experience working with legacy platforms (Mainframe, IBM i) is a plus.
