What you will do

  • Lead the COBOL and ChangeMan practice by setting team goals, planning timelines, and tracking delivery progress.
  • Manage resource allocation and workloads based on incoming customer requests and projects.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Product Engineering to drive sustainable customer solutions.
  • Handle customer escalations and strategy questions in partnership with Project Delivery.
  • Provide value-driven consulting to customers, including discovery, scoping, and solution proposals.
  • Mentor junior consultants and develop customer and internal training materials for Rocket products.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in related information technology roles.
  • 5+ years of project management, consulting, or management experience.
  • 5+ years of development, application lifecycle, or change management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with legacy platforms (Mainframe, IBM i) is a plus.
