What you will do
- Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting and expert knowledge of SAP applications.
- Provide remote-based functional support and training for specialist SAP modules.
- Develop application break fixes for critical product defects and create scripts to correct data issues.
- Manage key assigned accounts as a technical and functional advisor.
- Collaborate in a 24x7x365 virtual team environment, requiring flexibility with hours.
- Support client customizations and provide implementation best practices advice.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant SAP experience, specifically with SAP S4 HANA and Basis.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Expertise in SAP HANA in-Memory Platform architecture, installation, and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of system administration (Linux, Solaris, AIX, or Windows) and databases (Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2, Sybase).
- Experience with ABAP debugging and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to work remotely from a home-based office in Japan.
Nice to have
- SAP certifications.
- Experience with SAP SWPM tool.
- Knowledge of SAP Industry Solutions or Country Specific Solutions.
- Consulting background or experience with global implementations.
- Fluency in an additional language.
