What you will do

• Define sourcing strategies and select providers aligned with customer IT and automation strategies.
• Deliver complex, multidisciplinary consulting engagements for enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Prioritize use cases, conduct ROI and business case analyses, and incorporate security and resiliency into future-state designs.
• Develop infrastructure and network visions and roadmaps, identifying opportunities to improve performance, productivity, cost efficiency, and risk management.
• Capture, prioritize, and analyze functional and non-functional technical requirements.
• Contribute to intellectual capital assets and practice resources while collaborating with consultants, architects, project managers, and technical subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with public and/or private cloud environments, including deployment, configuration, and automation.
• Practical Kubernetes experience covering application deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, scaling, and basic cluster operations.
• Experience with containerized applications and container technologies; understanding of microservices architectures and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Knowledge of Platform Engineering concepts, including internal developer platforms, self-service capabilities, reusable templates, automation, and developer experience improvement.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and practices such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for cloud platforms and distributed applications.
• Understanding of cloud and Kubernetes fundamentals, including networking, security, identity and access management, storage, availability, and scalability.
• Ability to support readiness assessments, identify technical inefficiencies, contribute to improvement strategies, and communicate technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud or infrastructure platform, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, VMware, OpenShift, or private cloud technologies.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or enterprise architecture, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CKA, CKAD, Red Hat OpenShift, TOGAF, or similar.
• Experience with enterprise Kubernetes platforms and exposure to Internal Developer Platforms, golden paths, service catalogs, developer portals, or platform-as-a-product approaches.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools and practices such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Understanding of service mesh technologies, API gateways, ingress controllers, microservices communication patterns, and cloud-native security practices.
• Ability to explain the impact of cloud-native technologies on security, availability, scalability, cost, capacity, resilience, and operational efficiency.
• Experience in Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Awareness of IT Operating Models and organizational capabilities for deploying, managing, and supporting cloud-native platforms.
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles, including reliability, incident response, automation, and continuous improvement.
