Salary: €54,200–€72,200 per annum.

What you will do

• Develop efficient RTL using SystemVerilog, synthesis, and backend resources.
• Design, debug, and support ICs, IPs, and block-level DFT.
• Collaborate with architecture, floorplanning, verification, and STA teams to ensure high-quality hardware.
• Implement and contribute to the specification of chip digital features.
• Develop ASIC micro-architecture for signal processing and communication algorithms.
• Assist in design automation and post-silicon debug and correlation.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Must be able to work onsite in Pavia, Italy, five days per week.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Proficiency in RTL coding, DFT, resets, LEC, and Linting.
• Experience with multi-clock designs, synthesis, static-timing closure, and formal verification.
• Hands-on experience with the full chip-development process and front-end design tools.

Nice to have

• Design experience in high-speed (>1 GHz) or high-performance DSP products.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and UNIX shell.
