What you will do

• Maintain and implement accounting systems including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare financial statements such as profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheets.
• Monitor and report on project revenues and expenditures.
• Reconcile differences between local Bulgarian GAAP and US GAAP.
• Coordinate with local and global stakeholders to ensure statutory compliance.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluency in Bulgarian and English.
• Solid experience in Bulgarian statutory accounting and local bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of Bulgarian GAAP and tax requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and regulatory timelines.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting statutory and tax audits in Bulgaria.
• Familiarity with SAF-T reporting requirements.
• Experience in multinational group reporting structures.
