TL;DR

Python Engineer (AWS): Building and maintaining scalable cloud-based data and identity platforms with an accent on IAM integrations and infrastructure automation. Focus on designing backend services, implementing serverless solutions, and collaborating with distributed teams to ensure system reliability and security.

Location: Must be based in Uruguay or Argentina (Remote or Hybrid in Montevideo).

What you will do

Develop and maintain Python-based services and integrations for IAM and access management platforms.
Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Terraform and manage reusable modules.
Implement integrations between IAM tools and enterprise platforms like ServiceNow and Okta.
Support event-driven and serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and SNS.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and platform scalability standards.
Perform data mapping and management to integrate application user access data.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in Python development, debugging, and testing.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).
Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and event-driven architectures.
Advanced English proficiency required for international collaboration.
Must be based in Uruguay or Argentina.

Nice to have

Knowledge of access management concepts (RBAC, ABAC, PBAC).
Experience with ServiceNow or identity platforms like Okta.
