Swedish Language Specialist (AI Trainer)

Location: Remote from Norway

Compensation: $8–$65 per hour, with the exact rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.

hirify.global is running a freelance project that uses specialist linguistic expertise to improve large-scale AI language models.

What you will do

• Evaluate advanced language models across Swedish language scenarios.
• Test verb conjugation, noun-adjective agreement, sentence structure, dialects, word order, idioms, and cultural context.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness in model responses.
• Document reproducible failure modes and error traces.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Expert-level Swedish language knowledge across phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and language acquisition.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain analytical reasoning.
• Experience with linguistic analysis, language teaching, or related research is relevant.
• Work is performed remotely from Norway.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in Swedish language, linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Peer-reviewed publications.
• Teaching experience or hands-on linguistic analysis projects.
