What you will do

• Perform manual testing across the product suite with a primary focus on Android and cloud-based systems.
• Create and maintain test cases while contributing to test planning based on feature scope and risk.
• Expand automation efforts using Espresso with a transition toward Jetpack Compose frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to communicate issues, validate fixes, and align on timelines.
• Take ownership of testing efforts in evolving product areas and adapt to new initiatives.
• Validate functionality, performance, and user experience across mobile and cloud environments.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• 2-5 years of experience on teams building, testing, and shipping complex software.
• Strong experience balancing manual exploratory testing with automation.
• Experience with at least one mobile automation framework (Espresso, Appium, etc.).
• Ability to document, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues with clear detail.
• Familiarity with command line environments (Linux, macOS, or Windows).
• Ability to work independently and drive quality in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and testing strategies for Compose-based UIs.
• Experience with Playwright or other web automation tools.
• Experience testing client-server or API-driven applications.
