What you will do

• Design and develop backend services and APIs for SASE control plane and gateway orchestration.
• Build and maintain services using Go (primary) and PHP (API layer).
• Implement and enhance Linux networking features: namespaces, veth, routing, netfilter/iptables/nftables, DNS, IPsec, WireGuard/VPN and tunneling orchestration, firewalling and high-throughput data paths.
• Improve performance, scalability, observability, and reliability; troubleshoot complex production issues across networking, VPN, distributed systems, and performance.
• Contribute to platform modernization: migration to lightweight Linux OS images, containerization and workload optimization (EKS/ECS), and progress toward multi-cloud/vendor-agnostic architecture.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, QA, and Product; participate in architecture discussions; maintain code quality and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Go (Golang).
• Working knowledge of PHP (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and platform services.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Advanced hands-on Linux networking expertise, including namespaces/veth/routing and netfilter/iptables/nftables; ability to debug packet flow and system-level networking issues.

Nice to have

• Experience in SASE, networking, or security domains.
• Background as a Linux system administrator.
• Knowledge of SDN, NFV, or virtual networking functions.
• Exposure to security technologies (NGFW, IDS/IPS, DNS filtering).
