Salary: $82,300 - $220,000

What you will do

• Support concept, architecture, and requirement development for secure platforms resisting cyber and supply chain threats.
• Execute the full system engineering lifecycle for innovative microelectronics system solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of hardware and software engineers to support program execution.
• Analyze systems to evaluate effectiveness and suitability against defined threat models.
• Identify system-level technical risks and develop/execute comprehensive mitigation strategies.
• Lead small teams and provide mentorship and constructive feedback to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience as a systems engineer or in a related role.
• Current in-scope Secret security clearance required (Top Secret preferred).
• Practical experience with the systems engineering process and simulation-based performance analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for presenting work to technical and evaluation communities.
• Proficiency with modeling and simulation, computer language coding, or descriptive modeling (e.g., SysML, STPA).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, or communications/encryption.
• Experience writing proposals for commercial and government sponsors.
