What you will do

• Architect test concepts for WDM telecom devices in collaboration with R&D and production teams.
• Design and document test hardware and software to meet technical specifications.
• Develop complex algorithms for calibrating optical devices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop test steps, drivers, and automated sequences.
• Support and maintain existing test solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to transfer test solutions into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics, Computer, Electrical, or Telecom Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, specifically NI TestStand.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C#/C for scripting and automation.
• Experience in manufacturing test environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of algorithms for optical power, wavelength, and signal integrity calibration.
• Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and optimize test processes.
