What you will do

• Lead and execute functional verification of CPU logic to ensure compliance with microarchitecture specifications.
• Develop and maintain reusable UVM-based testbenches and verification environments.
• Define and run system simulation models to analyze power, timing, and identify bugs.
• Root cause and debug issues within the pre-silicon environment.
• Collaborate with CPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to optimize verification methodologies.
• Mentor and lead a small team of engineers to meet project schedules and quality goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 8+ years of experience (or Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years).
• Must be able to work on-site in Austin, TX or Hillsboro, OR.
• Strong proficiency in UVM, System Verilog, and industry-standard EDA tools.
• Experience in digital logic design including ALUs, control units, and system buses.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, bash) and C/C++.

Nice to have

• Experience with RTL development.
• Knowledge of x86 or other computer architectures.
• Familiarity with AI agents in verification.
• Experience with Synopsys simulators and version control (GIT).
