What you will do

• Apply actuarial expertise to evaluate reserving, capital, pricing, and exposure management across the Group.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of reviews from scoping and planning to execution and reporting.
• Engage and build relationships with senior stakeholders to provide value-adding recommendations.
• Draft clear, business-relevant reports for Group Committee and Board-level review.
• Contribute to team strategy, planning, and the development of internal audit initiatives.
• Supervise and coach team members to build the function's reputation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in core actuarial disciplines within insurance, reinsurance, or consultancy.
• Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of the insurance industry and key actuarial functions.
• Ability to translate complex technical content into clear, business-relevant insights.
• Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Must be based in Lisbon for this onsite role.

Nice to have

• Actuarial qualification or progress towards one.
• Prior internal audit experience.
