What you will do

• Design scalable, high-availability application solutions using the Rocket Enterprise Portfolio/Enterprise Server approach.
• Lead technical architecture work with customer business, development, and infrastructure teams.
• Conduct proof of concept technology analysis and run pilots for modernization initiatives.
• Present solutions to customers and deliver internal trainings to peer groups.
• Align consulting partners on Rocket Enterprise Portfolio methodology and modernization standards.
• Create and deliver technical content (blogs, whitepapers, and conference presentations).

Requirements

• Advanced technical degree in computer science or related field.
• 4–10 years of experience leading mainframe and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of major cloud provider infrastructure and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry, Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience analyzing on-premises mainframe environments to plan modernization that meets business outcomes.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Hands-on technical experience in at least one focus area: infrastructure modernization, application modernization (monolith to Cloud-Native APIs), or process modernization (DevOps/CI-CD and agile engineering practices).
