Location: Must be based in Kraków, Poland (Hybrid: 3 days in office)

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and TypeScript.
• Implement microservices using AWS Lambda and ECS containers.
• Manage data exchange using Kafka and optimize DynamoDB schemas.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication services.
• Mentor junior developers and remove technical impediments.
• Apply Agile methodologies including pair programming, TDD, and BDD.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in application development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, and TypeScript.
• Robust knowledge of AWS infrastructure (API Gateway, SAM, Terraform, Kinesis, SQS, EKS/ECS).
• Expertise in microservice architecture and RESTful web services.
• Experience with GitLab and Agile practices.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead technical delivery.
